This video really sums up our bootcamp experience. It was utterly wonderful.
In previous times when we’ve been to bootcamp, it’s all been about fitness. The last bootcamp I went to was an amazing challenge. But, as we said before, Team Bootcamp is a little bit different.
For people who visit with the aim to lose/maintain weight, Team Bootcamp will help them to look at the reasons they put on weight in the first place. That might be emotional issues, lack of information when it comes to food, or other underlying factors.
This really is what makes the bootcamp special. I’m not ashamed to say that I have food issues, I think a lot of women do to some extent. Even the most simple of nutrition talks turned into heavy, emotional discussions and made me realise I’m not alone in my eating issues.
Having talked through how I feel, it seems like there’s light at the end of the tunnel and I’ve regained control of my eating habits.
A fitness bootcamp needn’t be scary, especially when it’s in such a beautiful location. Despite all the exercise, I’ve never felt so relaxed. I spent a lot of time reading, writing, tweeting, watching really random movies, and chatting with some wonderful people.
