If you’re in a job you don’t like then you probably already know how it affects your happiness. But even people who are in tolerable jobs, perhaps even ones they love, are still gambling with their happiness.
Some (not all) women’s magazines do their best to feed us what we want to hear. They want to tell us how to live the perfect lifestyle, where to find the perfect man, how to have sex, why we need a good career and why we are doing everything else wrong.
They mean well. Women will always want to be thinner, look younger and have the perfect life but is that down to years and years of reading these sorts of magazines? Happiness is a lot more simple than following a step-by-step guide to the latest sex position.
I’ve always considered myself a happy person – I know how to find it, but also not be greedy of it either. I take that extra slice of time to choose which holiday, house, friend or Zumba class will bring me as close to happy as possible.
