I like modesty, it’s such an attractive trait…and the Wildebeest Arms does what it does SO well and modestly too.
In early September, with sun still shining, Jess and I headed out to the Wildebeest for a mid week lunch on their patio terrace
The warmth of service from Rouvé Elvin was inclusive but not overt. Our menu choices came to us perfectly presented with plenty of colour and texture.
There were seasonal wasps for company, but its a shame if you let that spoil anything whatsoever – who cares, its nature!
This is not pub-grub (short for public grubbiness, guys) it’s delicious, thoughtful and often hearty food, so there’s no guilt or shame in perhaps choosing the chips with cheese. (We did.)
Okay full admission then….I also had an amazing desert.
Head here for Jess’s gorgeous photography and full review. I’m just a fan, Jess has foodie style and taste!
You can find all the important details over at the Wildebeest website.
