The list of excuses is endless: I don’t like heights, I don’t like the anticipation, I don’t like being held upside-down.
So when I went to Pleasurewood Hills in Suffolk (a very tame theme park) I decided that if I knew I would enjoy something, despite the fear, I was going to do it.
It was scary but the things I was scared of turned out to be huge amounts of fun. There were a couple of rides I went on numerous times. I’m hoping that if we go to bigger theme parks, I can put aside the fear that seems to have come along with adulthood and enjoy myself.
Do things that scare you, it makes you feel alive. It might be walking into a new pub on your own to meet friends or it might be jumping out of an aeroplane. Whatever it is, you should do it, or you may live to regret it.
